Between my Husband and I we owe about $20,000 on various credit cards (Visa, MC, & stores). We are trying to get rid of this debt but don't know what our options are. We are also stuck in an Interest Only Mortgage Loan, yikes right. Can you advice us please!

Answer:
Well in the first place, you are to to forget about your careless spending habits that have led you to debt. The best option for you now is to start paying your bills accurately in full and on time. Even better it is if you make more than just the minimum monthly payment to catch up with normal balance. Another option would be applying for Balance transfer credit cards if your current credit rating allows you to. With a balance transfer credit card you can remove your debt at a lower interest rate term. Find out your credit score to see if you are eligible for a balance transfer credit card and use our online credit card application. Before you apply online, however, make sure you read the terms and conditions carefully as there might be some hidden charges which you cannot really afford.

Do you have to be living in the states to apply for a credit card with poor credit

Answer:
It is true, you have to be a US resident to be able to apply for a credit card, be it a good credit card or poor credit card. In case you are a non resident, it is very difficult to get online credit card approval if not impossible. If you want to obtain a regular US-based credit card, you need to have a US Social Security Number. Not everyone is eligible for a social security number. It is primarily issued to US citizens, permanent residents and individuals legally working in the USA. Try to get a working visa or apply for a Green Card, then you'll have a chance to apply for a US credit card and get approved.

I have bought a car it's in my name and I borrowed from the Saugeen Credit Union, $4000. The problem is that they don't give me a score they only take "interest" in me and no one will bother with me. How do I get my first card so that I can start building credit?

Answer:
If the Saugeen Credit Union doesn't give you a score, maybe it's not in their prior competence. Since Credit Union's primary commitment is to the needs of their members and every member is an equal owner, regardless of financial holdings, and enjoys the right to have a say in how the credit union is running, you can bravely contact them to clear your situation up. But if you are eager to start building your credit card history, we can advise you to look through the best US credit cards for people with no credit. Many leading credit card companies make credit cards for no credit with high fees or interest rates to compensate the risks. A more common recommendation for those who want to establish a credit is to apply for a secured credit card which means making a bank deposit and obtaining a credit limit equal to the amount of the deposit. Thus, the bank covers its risks with the credit. If you pay off the debt in full and on time, you will increase your credit score and be able to get an unsecured credit card.

I don`t have any creditcard. How can i pay?????

Answer:
You can pay online or through mail by check or money order, depending on the bank. First of all make sure your bank has online payment service. If yes, you have to know the address of the bank's web site, where you go and log in, after which you are expected to see all the blanks to be filled out, so that the payment will go through. You see, some banks accept payment thru mail orders as well as online. If you do not have a credit card or wish to make payment by mail you may send a money order in the amount that your bank will set. Be sure to include your email address to receive instant access to the bank database of unclaimed money accounts. In order to set up your account, a bank can need the following information: your e-mail address, full name and address. As soon as a bank receives your payment, it will instantly set up an account for you and e-mail your access information. Another way out to pay without a credit card is Graphcard. It is an online payment system that enables anyone anywhere in the world to pay online without having a credit card. The virtual card does not have personal information such as names and enables Graphcard account holders to shop online as they would with a traditional credit card but with the added benefit of anonymity. The service is free and straightforward: the only requirement is enough funds in one’s account to cover planned purchases. But there’s still the downside. The key challenge to this payment solution is signing up enough merchants who will accept Graphcard. If you are not likely to trust such services, we can advise you to get a credit card and to pay with the help of a credit card. In this respect, you are to apply for one of our credit cards at CreditCardBest.com. But before applying, study the terms and conditions of the card carefully to choose the one suiting your credit card history and credit score.

My son just started his first job after graduating from college. He probably has very little credit history since he only started paying off his student loan. He has no other credit cards at this time.

What is the best credit card for him to apply for. We are looking for a reasonable interest rate and a reasonable credit limit ($5,000 or better).

Thanks for your help.

Answer:
First of all, if he is not sure about what credit history he has, he should check it applying to the credit bureau. After that he will be able to apply for a credit card being sure in his eligibility.
Generally, people with bad credit history can choose among the following options.
He can apply for unsecured credit card for bad/no credit, which however provides low credit limit and high charges and fees, as the bank needs to cover the risks.
In some cases you can apply for a secured credit card, the credit limit of which is determined and secured by collateral - deposit in the bank issuer of the card.
Some people also may choose to apply for a credit card with a co-signer, thus they will be able to use a credit card for good credit, but the payment will be guaranteed by the co-signer - the person who initially applied for the card.

How can I consolidate all my credit card debt to one card or payment with out hurting my credit even more? I was declined from a personal loan and can't seem to get out of debt. I can afford one bigger monthly payment but no one will give me a chance now because my debt to income ratio is higher. I am getting a second job as well but I have no ideal where to go to start living a more debt free life. Please help.........

Answer:
The easiest way to get out of debt is start paying it off, which maybe will require to tighten your belt and reduce expenses on some things. You say your debt to income ratio doesn't let you get a loan, but since you have got a second job, you have a good opportunity to reduce the amount of debt and make this ratio proper for a loan you want.
You can also turn to debt consolidation, but it will significantly hurt your credit and in the end you will pay even more.
If you need a credit card, you can apply for a credit card for bad credit, but this should be a credit card fitting your needs and opportunities, since now your first aim should be reducing your major debt.
